Yue Zhang was born in Qingdao, China. Prior to studying in the US, Yue never had any cooking experience. During her studies, she started to try making wonderful food in different cuisine. Yue Zhang believes that home cooking not only provides a substantial and comforting meal , it is also the key to a healthy living.

Yue attended Michigan State University as an undergraduate, and then worked in San Francisco. Now she is back to China and will work professionally in the food industry.
